The Blues Blowoff kicks off at 6:30 on Tuesday evening on the Founders’ Stage

Here is a list of 2023 confirmed performers: Peter Madcat Ruth’s C.A.R.Ma. Quartet (Grammy Award winner of Brubeck fame), Jason Ricci and The Bad Kind (award-winning jazz, funk, blues, songwriter), Nic Clark (Hohner endorsee), Joe Filisko & Eric Noden (famed roots duo), Jason Keene (midi harmonica great), the Harmonica Big Band, Will Galison (jazz harmonica), Dave Moore (A Prairie Home Companion regular), Greg Hommert, two harmonica trios, James Conway (Celtic) and Tom Stryker (Jazz Chromatic) leading a wonderful group playing The American Song Book. Our perennial favorites are returning, of course, including 6 William Rosebush Youth Scholars, the popular Gospel Showcase (open to the public), and the SPAH Awards Banquet.

The Teach-in will be amazing, as usual, and we welcome wonderful SPAH Troubadours to share their experience, insights & music around the Convention area!
Teach-in faculty includes: Joe Filisko (leader), Charlie Barath, Chris Bauer, Don Caesar, James Conway, Grant Dermody, PT Gazell, Deak Harp, Lonnie Joe Howell, George  Miklas, Eric Noden, Dennis Oellig, Todd Parrott, Dan Ruppa,  Ronnie Shellist, and Seth Shumate.
SPAH Troubadours: Buzz Krantz and Bill Morris.
