Michael teaches harmonica when the opportunity arises, including at the Harmonica Workshop held at the Kerrville Folk Festival, which he also helps organize. From 2005-2013, he served as Vice Chair, then Chairman of the KFF Foundation (501c3). Since then has served as Secretary, then President of the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica (SPAH – a 501c3). Both non-profits have vibrant, growing youth programs. Michael is also a recording and sound engineer.
