Additional Information

Hoot Austin was started by Tom Stevens (circa 2000) with support and guidance from Hoot Dallas (Jerl Welch). We also enjoy close ties to Alamo Hoot in San Antonio . Michael D'Eath and Dan Ruppa joined early on and we formalized the club a bit more. Dan and several long time members are keeping it going with monthly meetings (aka jams) and new members. Since 2020 we have not secured a stable meeting venue, but make do. We appreciate and invite all players. It's Austin, we're laid back.
