Founded in 1999, the Spring Harp Fest was created to promote the blues harmonica. A 501c3 non-profit was created by the Spring Harp Committee in 2023. Donations received at our family friendly music festival, the day before Easter each year, at Harry Griffen Park Amphitheater in San Diego, CA, is used to provide harmonicas and harmonica lessons to the San Diego youth. Each year, the Spring Harp Fest partners up with BLUSD, a San Diego blues lovers club, to provide this free event to San Diego.
